Hypnotherapy to treat bad habits

Hypnotherapy is very successful in treating a variety of habit disorders, including nailbiting, hair-pulling (tricholtillomania), and skin/spot picking, smoking to name a few.

Strategies enable the person concerned to accept future positive consequences of stopping the habit and the state of hypnosis enables new pathways and patterns of activity to be established. In this way the brain learns to assume better and fuller control over the body.

Clients are able to experience and calmness and comfort instead of negative feelings which sometimes accompany the habit. They can find themselves able to accomplish things much more efficiently and with less effort while the subconscious mind is eliminating any wish to continue the unwanted habit.
