Does your bulimia feel like it is running your life and not you? Do you want to feel back in control and calm around food and in general? Would you like to feel balanced and normal throughout your day?
Bulimia can be a highly distressing condition, which can seriously take over and run your life and in extreme cases, may also be life threatening. Bulimia is characterised by episodes of binge-eating followed by compensatory methods of either vomiting, fasting, enemas, excessive use of laxatives and diuretics, and/or compulsive exercising.
Bulimia can feel very isolating and the shame associated with it impacts on confidence and the inability to be able to talk openly about it.
Your eating is probably not a response to intense hunger, it is usually a response to stress, self esteem issues or depression. During a binge episode, you probably experience a loss of control and may also experience a real "rush" or a feeling of anticipation in the build up.
We can help you move beyond these feelings and overcome the urge to binge and purge. We have vast experience with eating disorders and understand these aspects. With the right support, understanding, care and utilising appropriate techniques in a secure environment, Bulimia Hypnotherapy can move you from what seems ‘out of control’ and irrational behaviour to confidence and self control, free from this debilitating condition.
We have been treating this condition through Bulimia Hypnotherapy and NLP for over a decade and are very proud of the high number of clients who leave our clinic free of this debilitating disorder, empowered and comfortable in themselves, sometimes for the first time in their life.
We hope we can also have the opportunity to free you from bulimia too through our Bulimia Hypnotherapy.
Binge Eating Hypnotherapy
Do you hide food? Not eat in front of others? Lie about what you have eaten after a binge? Eat large quantities of food even when you are not hungry to the point you are in pain? Or maybe you find yourself continually ‘grazing’ all day as long as there is food offered or around even when you are not hungry or are full?
If you answered ‘Yes’ to any of the above and would like help with your binge eating we can help through our Binge Eating Hypnotherapy and NLP.
Binge eating disorder can affect anybody irrespective of age, race, gender and socio-economic status, so if you are suffering, do come forward for help. We do not discriminate in any way. You will be supported by professionals who understand the condition and offer encouragement as well as the latest discoveries in Binge Eating Hypnotherapy and NLP to let go of binge eating at a pace that feels comfortable for you, with permanent results.
There is no single cause for binge eating but it is often linked to low self-esteem and feelings of helplessness and worthlessness. It may have started during younger years and has continued up until now. Binge Eating Hypnotherapy will work on increasing self-esteem, eliminate ‘trigger’ times so when you are in situations where you may have binged in the past you find you don’t. We will also work with the ‘unconscious’ mind to remove any positive connection it has with binge eating, breaking this connection to allow you to feel in control and move forward in life.
Having a healthy relationship with food can be possibility for you. We hope we help you too as we have successfully helped many clients over the years through our Binge Eating Hypnotherapy treatment.
Have you got to the stage where you want to start enjoying life, to go out, mix with friends, maybe have a better relationship with friends and family instead of one of managing their worry and fear about your weight and eating habits?
Controlling food and weight may have originally started to give you a sense of power and control in your life, for some it feels like the ‘one thing’ they can control. Unfortunately, as the food is withheld over a period of time, the mind and body stop functioning proficiently causing a distortion on reality and any rational thinking. The control which was once sought, escalates to actually feeling out of control to the anorexia.
Anorexia Hypnotherapy helps you move forward from anorexia. We understand the complexities of anorexia. We work on a ‘holistic’ basis, working with you as a ‘whole’ person, not just focusing on the food. With the right support, your feelings, anxieties and fears can be expressed in a caring environment where Anorexia Hypnotherapy can help to bring about security and balance within you. Always feeling safe allowing a little more food into your body to get your strength and power back to live the life you deserve.
We do not rush you, belittle you or force you to do anything that doesn’t feel right for you
Anorexia Hypnotherapy can install a sense of inner calm, more rational thinking and feeling around body image and food to give you real ‘control’ of your life, you, not the anorexia that’s taking control!
Through the treatment of hypnotherapy for your anorexia you will begin to feel ‘normal’ and relaxed in social environments, noticing a sense of comfort in yourself and realise a shift in your day to day focus, away from obstructive, obsessive thoughts around food and body weight and more towards everyday activities.
We will work to install a sense of trust and security within you, so you begin to feel in control of your feelings, actions and thoughts.
If you feel ready to change, do give us a call, we have helped many clients to lead good lives after anorexia. It is possible.
We hope to hear from you regarding our Eating Disorders Hypnotherapy soon,
Some of our Eating Disorders Hypnotherapy Testimonials:
Email from client who suffered from bulimia: Just a quick message to say ’thank you’ for the help you gave me last year. Since seeing you for the trouble I was having with my eating, I have had the best six months in ten years free from the bulimia that had caused me so much misery previously. I just wanted to say thank you and let you know that your help has made a massive difference to my life.
In response to a request to use this testimonial publicly:
Of course, the more people that can benefit from the services you offer the better, particularly those suffering with eating disorders.
Text message from a female client who recovered from bulimia:
Thanks so much for the help you gave me it has made such a difference to my life.
Email from client who suffered from bulimia: I'd just like to say thank you for your help. In 5 years of trying nothing has been able to stop this vicious cycle until now.
I haven't had the urge to binge and purge since I saw you. I was even out drinking at a restaurant, a usual high trigger situation, but had no urge to over eat and binge.
I can't thank you enough for the huge weight you have lifted. I feel I can fully recover from this cycle I never thought I would never be able to break.
It's really amazing how much this has helped.
Email from client who suffered from binge eating: Hi Bonita, I'm feeling very different which is great, but I'm still in shock! Now when I'm offered food I can take it or leave it. This is so different, as you know, to how I was before. Before coming to see you I would always want the food , even if I said 'No' I would have kept thinking about it, occupying my mind for the rest of the morning or afternoon, probably until I gave in! I have a healthier view of myself, food and just feel more confident in general. I'm soo please I came to see you, I wish I had before but just pleased that I have now!! Thanks so much, you've been great.

Email from client who suffered from binge eating: Hi Bonita, Since the treatment I had with you a few months ago, I'm still not binging, which feel s great and I just wanted to let you know. I didn't contact you straight away after as I thought I would wait a little while to make sure it lasted!! It has. The late night binges I used to have after stupidly starving myself all day have come to an end. I'm balancing out my food throughout the day, but I'm not scared to think about food or allow it into my life like I used to. Food has become a friend not an enemy, a friend I respect and treat well!! In return it treats me well. I feel soo much more energetic and clearer headed. I've also lost 2 stone which feels good. Thanks again.
